Two men were seen wrestling each other outside a Hougang coffee shop.

One of them was suspected of being drunk.

The incident took place at 12.15pm on April 9 outside a coffee shop at Block 21 Hougang Street 51.

A video uploaded to TikTok showed a man in orange wrestling with a man in white on the ground.

The man in white could be heard repeatedly saying: "I've already apologised."

He then grabbed the other man and tried to get up, shouting at him to go away, but the man in orange kept following him.

The altercation ended after a passer-by stepped forward and stopped the man in orange.

Shin Min Daily News reported that the man in orange often visited the coffee shop to drink and would at times cause trouble.

A resident said the man would get violent easily, and the police have been called on multiple occasions.

An employee at the coffee shop beverage stall, who preferred to remain anonymous, guessed the two men were probably friends.

"They were sitting together at first, but then they had a conflict for some reason."

The police confirmed that two men, aged 45 and 55, were arrested.

The 45-year-old was taken to hospital, conscious, while the 55-year-old refused.

Police investigations are ongoing.
