All Singapore Premier League games to be played at Our Tampines Hub from April 24 to May 4
All Singapore Premier League (SPL) matches will be played at Our Tampines Hub from April 24 to May 4, the Football Association of Singapore said in a media statement on April 17, in view of potential closure of selected ActiveSG facilities ahead of the general election on May 3.
Three SPL games over the April 19-20 weekend - the Young Lions' clash with Geylang International, Tanjong Pagar United's meeting with Hougang United and the BG Tampines Rovers-Balestier Khalsa tie - will be rescheduled.
While that weekend's Women's Premier League (WPL) games will proceed as scheduled at Choa Chu Kang Stadium, remaining WPL, Singapore Football League and SPL Under-21 matches during the affected 12-day period will be postponed.
The first leg of the Singapore Cup semi-final between Brunei DPMM and Lion City Sailors at Jalan Besar Stadium on April 22 will also be moved to May 21, three days after the Sailors' Asian Champions League Two final against Sharjah FC of the United Arab Emirates.
Fans are encouraged to check the SPL and FAS social media platforms for the latest updates.
