Besides football, attractive spectators are turning heads at tournament

Ask anyone who the stars of World Cup 2014 are, and you're likely to get answers like Ronaldo, Messi and Neymar.

But as recent online reports have shown, the Beautiful Game has extended beyond the pitch.

South Korean newscaster Jang Ye Won became the latest World Cup sensation after a news clip about her Brazil work trip went viral.

A video of Ms Jang smiling at the camera from the stands during the Spain v Chile match earlier this month has been making its rounds on the Internet.

In a promotional clip for Seoul Broadcasting System's (SBS) World Cup coverage, the TV presenter is seen wearing a Spain jersey and clapping before turning to the camera as it zooms in, smiling and shrugging her shoulders.

And she is just one of the many head turners who have been spotted in sports stands across Brazil.

Others include Mariana Gonzalez, Inés Sainz and Vanessa Huppenkothen, all presenters from Mexican TV stations.

Ms Huppenkothen's name was even one of the top five World Cup related web searches in Singapore on June 19, football website GOAL reported.

But it is not just hot hosts in the limelight.

As photos coming out of the tournament have shown, there is no shortage of attractive World Cup spectators.

But which team scored most for fans with winning looks?

In a poll of 8,000 male users of Victoria Milan, a European dating site for married men, Brazil was voted as the team with the hottest football fans .

Second and third place went to Italy and Spain, respectively .

The top ten were mostly South American and European teams, except for Japan which shared tenth place with Switzerland and The Netherlands.
