Body of newborn found dumped in condo waste bin in KL
Residents of a luxury condominium in Kuala Lumpur made a startling discovery when they found the body of a newborn dumped in a waste bin.
The condominium's security guard was informed of the shocking find by residents on Tuesday morning (Oct 28).
According to the guard, who wanted only to be known as Santa, the newborn's body "smelled fragrant even though it was covered in garbage", reported Harian Metro.
Santa, in his 40s, said: "Strangely, I did not smell any stench. Instead, the body of the newborn had a nice smell.
“I suspect it’s the work of outsiders. I doubt that the residents here would do such a thing as only well-off people live here."
Acting OCPD for Wangsa Maju DSP Asmandi Abdul Aziz said that police are now searching for the newborn's parents.
He also urged that anyone with information to contact Wangsa Maju district police headquarters.
