Cars nosedive into loading bay as drivers caught off guard at StarHub Green carpark
A blue car was found plunged into the loading bay of StarHub Green in Ubi, according to a video shared in Facebook group Beh Chia Lor - Singapore Road on May 13.
It was believed that the driver "mistakenly" drove into the loading bay.
A Facebook user criticised the design of the carpark: "The design of the carpark is very weird, I was telling my family that if drivers were not careful enough, they would drive down the loading bay!"
Another netizen theorised that the car did not drive into the space, but was more likely parked at the loading bay. "They didn't drive into it. They parked and then the loader was lowered."

The incident was not an isolated case, as a netizen shared a photo of a grey car parked in the same nose-down position.
When Shin Min Daily News visited the carpark, it was reported that the ground floor was a loading bay connected to the first floor that housed a parking space for vehicles.
It was believed that drivers who plunged into the loading bay thought they could drive out of the carpark from there.
An employee of the food court located on the same floor as the carpark said that bollards were installed after the incidents.
"I heard that the management hired someone to install bollards afterwards, hoping that similar incidents would not happen again."
Mr Chen, 46, a regular at the food court, told the Chinese daily that the carpark was often dimly lit and had no visible warning signs.
"Fortunately, there are now bollards installed, and I believe they will help."
