Just before noon on April 16, a black car travelling in the left-most lane on Bedok North Flyover made a sudden move to switch lanes to avoid hitting a stationary vehicle.

In the dashcam recording shared in the Facebook group SGRV, a truck is seen standing still in the left-most lane, with road cones placed around it to warn other motorists.

The black car, upon reaching the stalled truck, veers to get into the centre lane. It narrowly misses hitting a trailer that has been travelling in the centre lane all along.

The driver of the black car apparently loses control of his vehicle and the car ends up on the median strip.

Although there is no collision, the trailer stops in the middle of the road.

The driver of the black car exits his vehicle, walks up to the trailer and snaps a photo of it.

Netizens commenting on the post expressed their surprise at the driver's audacity to snap a photo of the trailer as if it was the one at fault.

"He still has the cheek to walk up to the trailer and take a photo as if he's innocent," wrote a Facebook user.

Another user highlighted how the car driver could have averted the situation had he made way for the trailer to pass before switching lanes.
