GE2025 results at a glance: Who won, who lost?
Vote counting is underway.
GE2025 results are in, capping off an intense nine-day campaign filled with sharp barbs and fiery retorts.
This marks Prime Minister Lawrence Wong's first time leading the ruling People's Action Party (PAP) into an election - one held against a backdrop of global uncertainty, rising inflation, and mounting concerns over cost of living, housing, and social mobility.
According to The Straits Times, the party's vote share appears to have improved in nearly every constituency compared to its 2020 showing.
Meanwhile, the Workers' Party will retain its seats but has not made further inroads.
The other smaller parties failed to gain traction, and the PSP appears to have lost its parliamentary presence.
One of the most closely watched battlegrounds was Jalan Kayu SMC, which ultimately went to NTUC chief Ng Chee Meng in a razor-thin victory decided by just a few hundred votes.
Calling it a "very hard" fight, Mr Ng said he would serve residents with "humility and heart", and work towards building a stronger, kinder and more inclusive Jalan Kayu.
His opponent, the Workers' Party's Andre Low, said the result "does not diminish the importance of the work" the party and its volunteers have done. "To those who made a different choice, I hear you too. Your choice was valid and important."
On his Aljunied victory, WP chief Pritam Singh said he always said it was going to be a "difficult election".
"The slate is wiped clean, we start work again tomorrow, and we go again," he said.
In his victory speech, PM Wong reflected on his first electoral contest, calling it "a very humbling experience."
"We're grateful for your strong mandate, and we will honour it. We will honour the trust you have given us by working even harder for all of you."
