GE2025 sample count results are out: Here's what you need to know

All sample count results are in. The People's Action Party (PAP) is leading in 15 GRCs and 14 SMCs, while the Workers' Party (WP) looks set to retain two GRCs and one SMC.

Tight races are unfolding in several constituencies, including Jalan Kayu SMC, Tampines GRC, and Sembawang West SMC.

Based on the results, WP holds a comfortable lead in Aljunied GRC and Hougang SMC, and appears likely to retain Sengkang GRC.

A sample count is conducted at the start of the counting process to provide an early indication of the likely outcome for each electoral division.

Sample counts carry a margin of error of around four percentage points.
