A 34-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly killing a 15-year-old girl- after her half-naked body was found at a rubbish collection centre in Mong Kok, Hong Kong.

She was found yesterday (Dec 9), bound with plastic strips and adhesive tape, and was naked from the waist down, according to a police source.

Police believe that the girl was involved in compensated dating - a discreet form of prostitution in which girls receive money and gifts in exchange for sex with men.

They are investigating if she had died from a sex game.

The source said: "Initial investigations showed the suspect was believed to be her client."

A female cleaner, 58, discovered the body inside a red, white and blue nylon bag and alerted her supervisor who phoned the police.

Extensively bound

"Her head, neck and four limbs were bound with plastic strips and adhesive tape.
"Initial examination carried out by forensic pathologists indicated the victim had been dead for a day and had had sexual intercourse." - A police spokesman

The victim's head and both hands were extensively tied with adhesive tape.

Police arrested the suspect last night after studying CCTV footage from surrounding buildings.

The suspect was found to have checked into Harbour Hotel in Mong Kok, which is about 300 metres from the rubbish collection centre.

The suspect had used a trolley to wheel the body from the hotel to the rubbish collection centre before checking out.
