Good news! Emojis to look more like us next year (They'll be more racially diverse)
It's about time!
The people behind the ubiquitous emoji are introducing more racially diverse emoji characters next year.
Currently, the people emoji characters are only white - a feature that has led to several complaints.
But from June next year, Unicode (the people behind the emojis) announced that a new range of skin tones will be available.
The organisation said: "People all over the world want to have emoji that reflect more human diversity, especially for skin tone."
Users will reportedly be able to change the skin tone of the human characters - including the body parts.
So if you use the 'praying hands' emoji often (as I do when I'm waiting for the bus), then you can change the skin colour accordingly.
