Here's Kai Kai enjoying his. The male panda turns seven on Sept 14.
Here's Jia Jia enjoying hers. The female panda turned six on Sept 3.
Made of ice, bamboo, apples and carrots, the cakes were specially designed by students of ITE College West.
Judging by how much Jia Jia enjoyed hers, we're guessing they were delicious.
Over 150 guests joined the celebrations at the River Safari.
Friday's event marked the start of a week of festivities to celebrate the pandas’ second year in Singapore.
The pair arrived in Singapore on Sept 6, 2012.
The Panda Party will run from today till Sept 14. Visitors can expect free guided tours at the Giant Panda Forest, the chance to touch a panda skull replica and smell panda poop.
Wildlife Reserves Singapore chairman Claire Chiang said Kai Kai and Jia Jia have brought much joy to visitors at River Safari.
"As we celebrate their birthdays, we hope to leverage their popularity to initiate education programmes to highlight the threats that pandas face and encourage individuals to take actions to ensure a brighter future for this iconic animal," she added.
Here are some photos from the birthday bash.
