He tried to kill housemate for eating his three cookies

A man in Illinois, US, tried to kill his female house mate after he found out she had eaten three of his cookies for breakfast.

Yes,  three cookies. 

Allen Hall, 23, became angry when he found out that his 49-year-old roommate had eaten his Chips Ahoy! cookies.

The victim was in the bathroom when he pounded on the door, allegedly threatening to kill her.

Not taking his threats seriously, the victim said: "If you are going to kill me, then go ahead."

He then grabbed her with both hands, threw her down, and started strangling her in a bathtub, said the police.

The woman's husband and the landlord eventually pulled him away.

Hall has been charged with attempted murder and aggravated domestic battery.
