Singer and model Iman Fandi on Feb 28 released her first Hari Raya song, Hari Raya Raya Raya.

The 25-year-old daughter of Singapore football legend Fandi Ahmad and former model Wendy Jacobs said she was nervous singing in Malay.

Having spent years carving out her own identity and brand, Iman, who is now actively pursuing music, continues to explore her creativity by merging music and fashion with her unique style.

Following the success of her debut album, That Girl, this latest song is a significant milestone in her artistic journey. It captures the nostalgia and joy of Hari Raya through lively melodies and captivating lyrics.

"Hari Raya is a celebration that my family and I never miss each year," Iman told Berita Harian.

"Now I feel more confident in my musical style, and this is the perfect time to release a Raya song.

"Even though I didn't write this song myself, I worked closely with Malaysian songwriter and composer duo Pique and Eugene Lai to ensure the emotions were conveyed accurately."

Iman is also thrilled to perform the song live at the Absolut Bazaar Singapore 2025, which will be taking place from March 14 to 16 at Hall 4 of Singapore Expo.

The bazaar will feature over 400 booths from leading Malaysian and Singaporean brands such as Elrah, Sugarbomb, The Bahaman, and Kunafa Aiwahhh.

Iman was initially nervous about releasing a Hari Raya song as it was her first time singing in Malay. But she pressed on and had fun involving her family in the process.

"I recorded the song alongside my mother and my brother Iryan," she said.

"It was fun guiding them during the recording process, and they were excited to learn more about my world as a singer.

"Since my father and my other brothers - Irfan, Ikhsan and Ilhan - were overseas at the time, they sent their own recorded voices, which we added as ad-libs to the song."
