The much-loved halal artisanal bakery said it is closing in mid-September.

A much-loved Singapore bakery in North Bridge Road is closing for good.

In an announcement on Aug 15, the halal artisanal bakery said it had been a tough couple of years and can no longer stay afloat.

With its impending closure in mid-September, the bakery appealed for the support of followers in the final weeks of what it called a bittersweet journey of almost 12 years, so they could "hopefully close without any major debts".

"Come by for one last hurrah and for us to say our goodbyes to the community and all the familiar faces we have been serving," Fluff added.

The post attracted hundreds of comments from fans waxing lyrical about the bakery's flavours, with many sharing fond memories and wishing the owners the best.

"Nooooooo Fluff cupcakes are the only ones my wife and I eat for the past decade! So many celebrations and milestones of our lives were done so with Fluff cupcakes," said kelvyeoo on Instagram.
