'LeBron from Taobao': LeBron James, Stephen Curry impersonators spotted in Singapore
The lookalikes are Filipino impersonators and content creators Lebwrong James and Stepping Curry.
Impersonators of basketball icons LeBron James and Stephen Curry have been spotted in Singapore, sparking confusion and amusement among netizens and onlookers.
Two TikTok videos - one showing a LeBron James lookalike on the MRT, and another of him with a Stephen Curry double at Jewel Changi Airport - posted on Sept 24 had racked up over 200,000 and 800,000 views respectively at press time.

"LeBron in the MRT??" Read the caption of a TikTok video posted by user @bleepbleep_bloopbloop.
The short clip, which captured the James and Curry lookalikes on the MRT, drew more than 100 comments as of press time.
"Wait is that him actually," a commenter asked.
Others called the impersonators, "LeBron from Taobao" and "Jebron Lames".
Another TikTok video, uploaded by user @sleepymo0npie, showed the lookalikes walking past Keong Saik Bakery in Jewel Changi Airport and waving.
The clip had garnered over 200 comments at press time.
"Real or fake?" one questioned, while others pointed out that the pair were clearly not the actual NBS superstars.
Filipino impersonators Lebwrong James, Stepping Curry
Some commenters noted that the lookalikes were Filipino impersonators and content creators who go by the stage names Lebwrong James and Stepping Curry.
According to their social media pages, Lebwrong and Stepping were in Indonesia for a sports event before coming to Singapore.
Lebwrong shared photos of them at the Marina Bay area, the Merlion and at Jewel Changi Airport, captioning one post: "Goodnight Singapore. See you again".
