Man, 55, arrested for drink driving after crash in Sembawang
A 55-year-old man has been arrested for drink driving after an accident involving two cars along Sembawang Road on Aug 19.
The police said they were alerted to an accident involving two cars at about 10.40pm that day on Sembawang Road towards Canberra Road.
A 40-year-old driver and his 45-year-old passenger suffered minor injuries, but both men refused to be taken to hospital.
In a video of the accident posted on SG Road Vigilante's Facebook page, a black car is seen turning right, with the right-turn arrow green.
Another black car approaches the junction on the left of the first car, appearing to be going straight, and collides with it. This causes the rear of the first vehicle to swerve sharply to the right, as its front spins left.
Police investigations are ongoing.
