Man beats up beggar on train

A video of man beating up a beggar for earning more money than him has gone viral.

The incident happened last Friday in a metro train in Shanghai. The video showed the attacker hitting and kicking the beggar on the head. 

The witness who took the video said the attacker had initially given the beggar $1.20 (6 yuan), but then accused the beggar of earning more money than him before beating him.

In thevideo, when the beggar gives his attacker some back - in notes - the latter takes it. He pockets some of it and throws some on the floor, demanding the beggar pick it up.

The beggar eventually leaves the train.

Shanghai police are appealing for help to find the attacker and beggar.
