Man left bleeding from head after drunken fight in Little India
Two drunk men fought in Little India at about 11.30pm on March 14.
As a result of the altercation in the vicinity of 48 Clive Street, one of the men suffered a head injury.
An eyewitness told Shin Min Daily News that he saw two to three auxiliary police officers patrolling the area when a man staggered over to them and claimed he had been assaulted.
"He was smelling of alcohol," claimed the eyewitness.
"The officer followed him to the scene but there were already police officers attending to the injured man and an ambulance was also on-site.
"The injured person was sitting on a chair, his head and clothes covered in blood.
"I heard that the man who asked for help had hit the other person with a bottle."
It is believed that a passer-by called the police.
The man who asked for help admitted he had a fight with the injured man.
The police confirmed that two men, 33 and 38, were arrested. The younger man was conscious when taken to hospital and investigations are ongoing.
