An Ohio man seduced his 17-year-old foster daughter to kill his wife so that they could be together while he collected an insurance payout of $800,000.

Kevin Knoefel was found guilty on Wednesday of sexual battery and conspiracy charges and faces life in prison.

Sabrina Zunich, now 19, had stabbed Lisa Knoefel, 41, 178 times while she was sleeping back in 2012.

She testified against Knoefel claiming that he told her that his wife was "worth more dead than alive." She also said that he feared a divorce would leave him without custody of the couple's three-year-old daughter.

Knoefel had also given tips to Zunich on how to stab his wife and instructed her to disguise the murder as a burglary.

The teen was caught and arrested immediately after the murder and is now facing life in prison.
