Man slams car into house after arguing with wife

A Texas man has been arrested for assault. He was suspected of slamming a car into his home after arguing with the missus, police said on Tuesday.

His wife, who was inside the vehicle, was severely injured.

Scottey Davis was in police custody on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon following the incident in the Dallas suburb of Cedar Hill on Monday, police said.

Davis was listed as having no attorney representing him.

His wife was found under piles of bricks and debris inside the house. She was taken to a hospital due to her serious injuries.

Local TV broadcasters' footage showed a piles of bricks next to a ground floor bathroom that had caved in.
