A mentally disturbed man in Baltimore claiming to be God, smashed a truck into a Baltimore TV station in the state of Maryland, US on May 14.

When the guard refused him entry, he went on his way, only to return with a truck and then proceeded to use it as a battering ram.

Vladimir Baptiste smashed his way through the entrance of the TV station, went on to lock himself in an editing room and tweeted his takeover, reported the Daily Mail.

According to Baltimore County Police Chief  Jim Johnson, the man was "Rantin and raving incoherently" when his officers surrounded him in the editing room which was on the second floor of the WMAR-TV building.

The rest of Baptiste's tweets support claims that Baptiste was a man who required psychological help.

After a five hour stand off, police arrested Baptiste without incident as he was "subdued".

NY Daily News reported that he is currently in jail in lieu of $75,000 bail. He faces several charges, including three counts of attempted second degree.
