McDonald's apologises for bun with swastika on it
This is probably worse than getting the wrong order.
Last week, a woman in North Carolina got a surprise when she opened the chicken sandwich she had bought at a McDonald's drive-through.
A swastika had been burned into the bun with butter.
The local owner of the McDonald's apologised to the woman and offered her a full refund, according to USA Today.
The employee who was trying to be too creative at work? He was fired.
"We are very sorry for the service that our customers received, and to be clear we have terminated the employee who was involved," said Dulcy Purcell, McDonald's operator in Morehead City.
"We do not tolerate that kind of behaviour at McDonald's, and it's not what we stand for personally as owners."
