M'sian man, 71, caught having affair with girl, 14
A 14-year-old girl and a 71-year-old grandfather were nabbed by religious authorities in Kedah, Malaysia, last week.
The couple, who are not related or married, admitted to being romantically involved after they were caught for khalwat (close proximity).
Authorities were tipped off by a local resident who said they were often seen together at the man's house late at night whenever the man's daughter was out.
The man initially claimed the teen was a friend's daughter, but later admitted to having an affair with her.
Harian Metro reported that the girl’s parents were shocked by the news as they thought she was spending the night with a friend.
