NDP 2025: Applications for tickets to open on May 28, to be done using Singpass

Applications for tickets to National Day Parade 2025 and its preview shows will open from noon on May 28 and close at noon on June 9.

All Singaporeans and permanent residents will be able to apply for two, four or six tickets to the main parade on Aug 9, or one of two preview shows on July 26 or Aug 2, said the NDP 2025 executive committee on May 26.

The shows will be held at the Padang.

For the second year running, applicants must use Singpass - the national digital identity platform - to apply for the tickets. The committee said the process, which was introduced in 2024, will help to prevent scams.

The committee said tickets will be allocated via a balloting process upon the closure of applications and will not be given on a first-come, first-served basis.

Each applicant is entitled to one ballot chance, and each ticket will admit only one spectator.

Reselling of the show tickets is strictly prohibited. Action will be taken against those caught scalping or using the tickets for fraudulent purposes.

The Padang has traditionally hosted around 27,000 spectators for the main show and each of the previews.

The theme for NDP 2025 is "Majulah Singapura", to commemorate the nation's 60th year of independence. Taken from the National Anthem, the theme aims to help Singaporeans reflect on the collective achievements over the past 60 years, and look forward to the future.

One highlight of this year's parade is an expanded show from the Padang that will include the Marina Bay area.

Spectators can also look forward to the inaugural Jump of Unity featuring the Red Lions parachutists from the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) and naval divers from the Republic of Singapore Navy.

Meanwhile, performances at the Padang will be complemented by light projections on buildings across the city skyline, while a new floating stage will also be built for performers at Marina Bay.

To mark SG60, the Republic of Singapore Air Force will perform a special aerial tribute, in addition to traditional crowd favourites such as the state flag flypast, salute to the nation, and presidential gun salute.

The mobile column - a showcase of air, land and maritime assets from the SAF, Home Team, and Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore - will also return to the Padang for the first time since 2019.

How to apply for tickets

Those interested in attending the shows can visit the official website at www.ndp.gov.sg to access an application form.

Applicants will need to log in with their Singpass app.

Applicants will receive a confirmation by SMS from gov.sg and e-mail from info@plumber.gov.sg

Those without Singpass are advised to register for one, ask a family member or trusted person with an account to apply for the tickets on their behalf, or visit ServiceSG centres with their NRIC for in-person help.

The NDP 2025 executive committee said this will be the only way to ballot for tickets, warning applicants not to fill in any other forms from unverified links or sources.

Successful applicants will be notified between June 20 and 25 through the mobile number and e-mail address submitted in the application.

The committee said successful applicants will be notified by only gov.sg via SMS and info@mail.postman.gov.sg by e-mail.

"Any SMS and e-mails from other sources should be treated as potential scams or phishing attempts," it added.
