Nicole Seah, 28, has resigned from the National Solidarity Party (NSP), according to a Yahoo News report.
Seah, who works and lives in Bangkok, told the online news portal that leaving the party was "an extremely difficult and painful decision to make", stating that there was nothing that happened to trigger her departure.
NSP secretary-general Jeannette Chong-Aruldoss confirmed the news with Yahoo on Friday (Aug 29).
In the interview, Chong-Aruldoss stressed that the decision to leave was mutual and while the NSP is sorry to see her go, the party respects her decision.
