The electricity and gas tariffs for households in Singapore will remain unchanged from April to June 2025, as compared with the current quarter.

In separate statements on March 28, SP Group said the quarterly household electricity tariff will remain at 28.12 cents per kilowatt-hour (kWh), while City Energy said gas tariffs will remain at 22.72 cents per kWh.

Both prices stated are before goods and services tax (GST) are included.

An average four-room HDB household can expect to pay $90.01 for their monthly electricity bill, unchanged from the current quarter.

The overall electricity tariff - including tariffs for non-households - will go up by an average of 0.1 per cent or 0.04 cent per kWh.

According to SP group, the electricity tariff is calculated using four components. They include energy costs, which take into account the cost of imported natural gas and the cost of operating power stations, among others.
