Nude photo threat over Harry Potter actress' UN speech: It's a hoax!

After Emma Watson gave a rousing, inspiring speech calling on both men and women to end gender equality as part of the UN's HeforShe campaign, she received praise from celebs and the public.

But reports from Washington Post and the BBC soon emerged: That 4chan users retaliating against the speech are threatening to leak nude photos of the Harry Potter actress.

A website called EmmaYouAreNext was soon set up. It had Watson's photo and a countdown clock.

The timer was said to be counting down to the release of the photos.

Cue outrage and dismay.

But hold your horses! It's all a hoax.

That's right, a hoax.

The creator of this stunt is marketing agency Rantic.

The website has since redirected users to Rantic's main page.

Hands up those who find it an idiotic attempt at shutting down the message board.

Try harder, Rantic. Actually, just don't.
