The one where a former Friends star helps solve a stabbing

This story involves David Schwimmer, the New York City Police Department, footage from a security camera and a transvestite prostitute on a street corner.
No, David Schwimmer was not caught on camera with the transvestite prostitute with his pants down, à la Hugh Grant.
Although if that did happen we would be all over that story.
What actually happened was that David Schwimmer - best known as Ross from Friends - helped out the police to solve a stabbing by letting them view footage from a security camera that was on his property in New York.
The NY Post reported that on the morning of May 26, three people were involved in a fight in a first floor apartment in the building that adjoins Schwimmer's US$4 million (S$5 million) home.
The fight got so heated that one of the people involved was smashed through the lobby door that was made of glass, reported the NY Post.
According to the report, an unnamed 26-year-old man was taken to the hospital with stab wounds to the face. The prostitute fled the scene.
The NY Post quoted an unnamed source saying a Robert Rainey, 21, was arrested and charged with assault, criminal possession of a weapon and robbery.
Apparently the police had no eye witness to the whole fracas, only accounts from the two men involved.
That was until, they noticed the security camera on Schwimmer's property.
Good neighbour
This incident has improved Schwimmer's standing in the local community.
They were apparently angry with the massive renovations that Schwimmer made to the house in 2012.
“Four years ago, I would say David Schwimmer was the least popular guy on the block with the construction and all,” said resident Jayson Fillermutter, 31.
“But he has turned out to be a decent neighbor, and I am glad to hear he helped the cops with that stabbing.”
