Police arrest two men for unrelated molest cases near Fernvale, Woodlands Ave 6

Police arrested two men on Friday for two unrelated cases of molest.

In the first incident, a 32-year-old woman said she was molested by an unknown man just as she was about to board an LRT train near Fernvale at about 6.45pm on Thursday.

She made a police report at about 11pm the same day. 

Police arrested a 46-year-old man near Fernvale Link on Friday at 5.25pm. Investigations are ongoing.

In the second incident, a 27-year-old woman told police on Thursday at 11.18am that she had been molested by a man near Woodlands Avenue 6.

Police arrested a 34-year-old man in his house on Friday at 12.20am.

The man will be charged in court on Saturday at 9am.

If found guilty of the offence of outrage of modesty, he can be jailed between three and 10 years, and caned.
