Woman charged with ill-treating boy

A former childcare teacher was charged in a district court yesterday with ill-treating a two-year-old boy.
Siti Hadijah Mohamed Sin, 51, (left) who was with the My First Skool branch in Toa Payoh, allegedly grabbed him by his upper arms and heaved him backwards onto the floor twice last July.
The alleged offence, which caused a hairline fracture in the boy's left shin, was captured on the centre's security camera.
Siti Hadijah was sacked and the boy's parents have pulled him from the centre. The case will be mentioned again on Feb 18.
