Police arrest man for sexual assault at Marsiling Drive

Police have apprehended a 28-year-old man for sexual assault.
A 21-year-old woman had lodged a police report on Sunday (Oct 26) of the incident which happened around the Marsiling Drive area.
The suspect was arrested within 39 hours of the report being filed.
After thorough investigations and the help of police cameras and CCTVs, police arrested the suspect at Shipyard Road at around 7pm on Monday.
The suspect will be charged in court on Wednesday.
If found guilty, he may be jailed up to 20 years and caned.
