Singaporeans say "I love you Mum" on social media
Yup, it's Mother's Day. And Singaporeans from all walks of life took some time out to mark the special occasion today (May 10).
Short or long, their greetings on social media show there's plenty of love for the most important woman in their life.
Here are some of what they penned - because saying the words face-to-face may be just a bit embarrassing.
Even our ministers got into the spirit of things online.
Minister for Culture, Community and Youth Lawrence Wong posted this heartfelt dedication to his mother on his Facebook wall.
Calling her a "superwoman" who managed to balance her work as a teacher and as a mother, this photo with his beaming mother is his tribute.
Meanwhile, Minister for Social and Family Development Tan Chuan-Jin shared a simple but-no-less-heartfelt message on his Facebook account.
Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong shared Jurong Point's Mother's Day video that went viral.
He also reinforced the clip's message - by urging everyone to seize the day and express affection for their mothers.
Jurong Point shared their tearjerker of a video on their Facebook wall on May 6.
Since then, it has been shared close to 18,000 times and viewed almost half a million times.
No word on how many pieces of tissue papers were used to wipe away tears though.
How are you marking Mother's Day?
