Singtel's mobile data disruption being restored

More than three hours after Singtel users first complained that they were unable to use their 3G and 4G mobile data, the telco said on its Facebook page that service to a majority of its users has been restored.

They suggested to customers who are still experiencing difficulties to "restart" their device.

At about 1pm on Wednesday (April22), Singtel users flooded social media with complaints about their mobile data services being down. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

One user noted that that he had to resort to using SMS to communicate with each other because they were unable to use the mobile messaging service WhatsApp.

 

 

 

Singtel spokesman said: “Our engineers are currently investigating and are working on restoring services as soon as possible. We will provide regular updates on our Facebook page and Twitter."

By 3.35pm, they updated their Facebook post to say that their engineers are working to restore the services "as soon as possible".
