Two men help police nab alleged loan shark runner
A pair of alert Bishan residents helped police nab a man believed to be involved in loan shark harassment.
On Saturday afternoon, police received a phone call from a man.
He and his neighbour had detained the 27-year-old Malaysian suspect for writing on a wall outside their homes at Block 166 Bishan Street 16.
Police seized a black permanent marker and handphone from the suspect, who was wearing a business suit at the time.

The suspect had reportedly harassed people by scrawling graffiti at more than 70 locations across Singapore.
He will be charged in court on Monday with loan shark harrassment.
If found guilty, a first-time offender can be fined up to $50,000, jailed up to five years and caned up to six strokes.
