About VisionSave

VisionSave is a philanthropic campaign jointly run by the Singapore National Eye Centre (SNEC) and the Singapore Eye Research Institute (Seri).

According to Seri, Singapore has one of the highest rates of myopia in the world. Sixty per cent of Singaporean children are myopic by the age of 12, and 80 per cent by the age of 18.

Myopia brings about critical health and economic implications, which will escalate as our myopic generation ages over the coming years.

SNEC and Seri hope to raise $25 million for their VisionSave campaign by 2020.

DONATIONS

All donations from VisionSave will go towards providing financial assistance for patients with sight-threatening eye diseases, public education, research and innovation, and more.

The public can donate by completing a VisionSave form found at SNEC and Seri, where donation pledges or cheques may be dropped into secure boxes, or go to www.visionsave.sg to make an online donation.
