Here is another treat for participants of The New Paper Courts Big Walk on Nov 26.

Other than meeting famous animals, you can also take a trip back to prehistoric times and interact with more than 20 "dinosaurs".

Ms Isabel Cheng, chief marketing officer at Wildlife Reserves Singapore, said: "This year-end, Singapore Zoo and River Safari will be home to an array of animatronic dinosaurs such as the impressive Tyrannosaurus rex, Spinosaurus, Stegosaurus, Triceratops and a host of their prehistoric cousins.

"Young (and young at heart) guests can try their hand at being a paleontologist by excavating dinosaur fossils. Education being one of our pillars, we've also lined up the Same Same But Different Trail in Singapore Zoo so visitors can learn valuable lessons about saving today's species from extinction."

She added: "There will be also be a photo opportunity with our T-rex and Velociraptor friends as they welcome guests to dinosaur valley, accompanied by their charismatic dinosaur keeper.

"River Safari is not spared from dinosaur fever, with some of the Zoo-rassic Park residents making their way there to meet some old friends.

"Guests can continue their prehistoric learning journey in Singapore Zoo's sister park to learn about living fossils in the Extinction Escapees Trail and find out more about ancient animals still alive today such as the Alligator Snapping Turtle, Indian Gharial and Giant Chinese Salamander."

Young participants will be able to try their hand at dinosaur-themed handicrafts among many other activities.

The dinosaurs will be at the Singapore Zoo and River Safari until May 2017.

Dinosaur-related activities will be available over the weekends from Nov 26 to Dec 18.

You can also stand a chance to win a family pack to visit Zoo-rassic Park by taking part in The Great Egg-scape.

Members of the public should keep their eyes peeled for the giant partially-hatched dinosaur egg rolling about various locations in Singapore. (See report on right.)

Upon spotting the dinosaur egg, members of the public can take a photo of or with the egg, and upload the photo onto Instagram with the hashtag '#zoorassicparksg'.

Ten lucky winners will be notified by Nov 8 and will receive a Family Pack consisting of two adult and two child admission tickets to visit Zoo-rassic Park at Singapore Zoo and River Safari.
