Former SCDF officer charged with harassment

A former Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) Lieutenant-Colonel was charged with harassment in a district court on Wednesday (March 16).

Goh Wee Hong, 39, who is married with a child, is accused of making sexual advances towards a woman in her 20s and harassing her between Aug 27 and Aug 30, 2015.

The woman cannot be named due to a gag order by the court to protect her identity.

His case was adjourned to April 27 for a pre-trial conference.

If convicted, Goh faces up to a year's jail and could be fined up to $5,000.
