How to ace the audition
Today at The New Paper New Face walk-in auditions, you'll face a panel of judges which includes former New Face contestants Diya Prabhakar and Lisah Suhaimi.
You will have to be prepared but don't worry, we have tips for you. DANELIA CHIM asks last year's contestants for advice.
DOS
Smile
New Face 15 winner Selynna Norhisham, a 23-year-old administrative manager, says: "Whenever I was nervous, I just kept on smiling."
Be confident
Miss Angie Watkins, a 20-year-old Basic Models Management model and winner of subsidiary title Miss Cagliari Cosmopolitan last year, says: "Always make eye contact."
Know your strengths
Miss Denise Pung, 22, a recent graduate from SIM Global Education, says: "Do a pose that accentuates your strengths. If you have long legs, show that."
Be comfortable
Vanessa Ho, 16, a Victoria Junior College student, says: "Practise walking in heels to get comfortable."
DON'TS
Slouch
Miss Selynna says: "It (shows that) your posture is bad."
Miss Watkins, who was a finalist on the fourth season of reality TV modelling series Asia's Next Top Model, adds: "Walk as if you have a string connecting you from your hips to the tip of your head, pulling you straight, almost like a puppet."
Wear heavy make-up
Melissa Poh, a 16-year-old secondary school student, says: "Don't put on too much make-up, it obscures your face."
Put others down
Vanessa says: "Some will criticise other girls during the walk-in. They won't go far in the competition because the judges also look at your personality."
Be over the top
Miss Pung says: "Don't be too posey."

Wear: Fitted top with miniskirt or shorts, high heels and light make-up
Bring: Close-up photo of yourself for submission
