Overseas properties still popular

Despite the lacklustre property market in Singapore, more than 500 people turned up at the Singapore Press Holdings' (SPH) auditorium yesterday for the first day of a property seminar and showcase featuring overseas properties.
The Property Seminar & Showcase 2016, presented by SPH Digital, featured developers from Malaysia and the Philippines.
Even before lunchtime, a keen investor had completed a purchase from one of the exhibiting developers, Tanah Sutera Development.
Although the seminar is sold out, the public can still visit the developers' showcase at SPH News Centre at 1000, Toa Payoh North, from 10am to 5pm today.
