Apart from the returning food vendors from previous block parties, there will be a special vendor today.
Ms Michelle Lim, 29, founder of the M.A.D.A brand, told The New Paper yesterday: "M.A.D.A, or making a difference with accessories, will have a booth selling handmade accessories such as bracelets, necklaces and chokers.
"I will have different beads and charms, so buyers can customise their accessories."
She will also be selling craft items such as jars and figurines, which can be customised.
"The figurines are mostly dinosaurs and animals," said Ms Lim.
Visitors will be treated to a special hoop dance performance at 7pm.
Hoop Fitness, a private operator of the People's Association, was founded by three fitness enthusiasts: Madam Rozie Lim, Madam Aenice Loh and Madam Megan Tan.
They'll be at the party today to teach residents and visitors how to get fit through hula-hooping.
Madam Tan, a recruitment consultant, said: "Many people think hula hooping is difficult but we'll be showing them a technique that is easy and fun to do.
"Hula-hooping is a good way to shed fat on the tummy, thighs and arms.
"Our hoops are not the usual plastic kinds, they're the traditional rattan ones."
The trio will also have a recruitment booth inviting people to join their hula-hooping classes.
Members from Youth Warriors, an interest group from Jurong Spring Zone B Residents' Committee, and Lixing Dance Interest Group will be putting up dance performances from 6pm.
Visitors can also learn cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and first-aid awareness skills, and go home with a free Harmony Pack. (See report at right.)
Organised by the People's Association Panel of Activists for Community Engagement and TNP, Our Blocks Rock are hip and vibrant parties held over selected weekends.
The parties will take place in various heartland areas till December.
