The Singapore Police Force posted a warning on Facebook yesterday against spreading rumours about potential terrorist attacks in December at places like Orchard Road and VivoCity shopping mall.
The warning came after a WhatsApp message made the rounds.
The police, in their post, also reminded the public to "refrain from circulating unsubstantiated information as this may cause public alarm".
At the same time, they urged the public to stay vigilant and report suspicious activities, people or items to the police. - The Straits Times
