Thai embassy to get new look

The iconic Thai embassy building, which sat at Orchard Road for five decades, has been demolished to set the stage for a makeover. Consular services continue in an adjoining building in the same complex. The Straits Times understands that a Thai pavilion could come up on the site of the old building.
