S'pore police arrest man for damaging ATM in Jalan Besar

Police arrested a 33-year-old man on Tuesday for damaging an automated teller machine.
The authorities were alerted to the incident near Jalan Besar around 10.10am on Oct 4, stated a police press release.
The man was arrested near Raffles Avenue on Tuesday (Oct 14) at 5.50am.
He will be charged in court on Wednesday with the offence of Rash Act which endanger life or the personal safety of others.
If found guilty, he may be jailed for up to six months and/or fined up to $2,500.
