Model slams French manager on Twitter for dropping footballer boyfriend

Soon after her boyfriend was left out of the French World Cup squad, she unleashed a vicious Twitter tirade.

Miss Anara Atanes, girlfriend of Manchester City star Samir Nasri, tweeted: "F*** France and f*** Deschamps! What a s*** manager."

Nasri's omission from the 23-man French squad, which was announced on Tuesday, came a day after City won the English Premier League for the second time in three years.

Miss Atanes, who has also been linked to footballers Freddie Ljungberg, Darren Bent, Kieran Richardson and Jermaine Pennant, also posted: "Let's just get this straight! I'm not mad I get my bf (boyfriend) for 2 months.... I just think there's a level of respect to be had!"

Nasri then replied to his girlfriend on the social network posting: "Love you. Don't get upset, life sometimes is unfair but you have to accept it and deal with it."

Last November, Miss Atanes, 26, had re-tweeted a photo of her with the girlfriends of other French international players with the message "Brazil here we come".

OUT OF FAVOUR

Despite his impressive performances for City, Nasri is thought to have fallen out of favour with manager Didier Deschamps due to disciplinary reasons, the Mail Online reported.

Unveiling his squad, Deschamps said: "He has an important status with Manchester City because he starts, which is not the case today in the France team."

But speaking before the squad announcement, Nasri told French TV station Canal+: "I respect (Deschamps') choice. If starting games in a club like Manchester City and winning two titles isn't enough, too bad, I won't regret anything."
