Teen, 15, arrested for loanshark harassment

The police have nabbed a 15-year-old for allegedly carrying out loanshark harassment.
They received a report last Friday (April 3) that someone had set the front door of a Woodlands HDB flat on fire.
Officers from Jurong Police Division arrested a 15-year-old at Tampines Street 33 on Monday (April 6) afternoon. He is believed to be involved in other similar cases.
The teen will be charged in court today.
First time offenders found guilty of loanshark harassment can be jailed up to 5 years, fined between $5,000 and $50,000, and caned.
