Toa Payoh coffee shop brawl sees three men arrested
Authorities are tracing the remaining people involved.
Three men have been arrested after a fight broke out in Toa Payoh on the morning of Aug 24.
The police said they were alerted to a case of fighting at Block 10B Lorong 7 Toa Payoh at 9.50am.
The three men, aged between 21 and 30, were arrested for rioting.
Efforts to trace the remaining people involved are under way, said the police.
In a video of the incident on Telegram channel SG Secret Channel, more than 10 people can be seen at a coffee shop - believed to be at Block 9 Toa Payoh Industrial Park - during the altercation.
Three individuals are seen lifting a chair and two tables before smashing them to the ground, amid shouts from others.
A man in a white and red top is then seen attempting to punch a man in a dark blue, long-sleeved top. Seconds later, another man in a black T-shirt with an item in his hand appears to strike the man in blue.
Others at the scene can be seen attempting to stop the altercation.
As the camera pans away from the coffee shop, at least eight people are seen gradually running across the road from the coffee shop and towards a Housing Board block before disappearing from view.
According to Shin Min Daily News, a few police cars were parked on the side of the road near the coffee shop, and a cordon was set up following the incident.
Tables and chairs were toppled over, and the floor was littered with broken glass. Blood was also seen on some chairs.
