'Top tier side gig': Job listing offers $100 an hour to catch cheating wife on Quest app

The task description included conducting surveillance and providing daily updates.

A TikTok post about a job listing offering $100 an hour to help catch a cheating spouse has gone viral.

According to TikToker @rishikrzshow, the listing was found on local gig platform Quest app, which lets users hire "heroes" to run errands, find content or take on part-time tasks quickly.

The clip, captioned "$100 per hour top tier side gig in Singapore", has garnered more than 35,000 views as of press time.

$100 an hour 'private investigator' job listing

A screenshot of the job listing shown on the video, titled "help me catch my wife cheat", called for a "private investigator" to conduct surveillance to "gather evidence of infidelity" and provide daily updates.

Required skills included experience in evidence-gathering, attention to detail, good communication, and the ability to work discreetly.

The listing, which indicated the job would take eight hours, had already drawn 19 offers.

"This guy's not playing around," joked @rishikrzshow.

The TikToker also pointed out similar listings for "loyalty tests", which involved creating fake social media accounts to communicate with a partner and gauge their faithfulness.

Those jobs offered $10 to $15 an hour and had already attracted dozens of applicants.

"Continue growing the market... catch them all!" the TikToker quipped.

Netizens reacted with amusement to his video, with one commenting: "Brb, gonna download Quest now."
