Two face vandalism charges
Police have arrested two 27-year-old men for suspected involvement in vandalising several properties at Hindoo Road, Dunlop Street, Middle Road, Queen Street, Bugis Street, North Bridge Road and Bencoolen Street.
On Feb 18 at 5.34pm, police received a report of graffiti being painted on the exterior wall of a building along the service road near Hindoo Road.
A further search revealed similar graffiti on the wall of another building at Dunlop Street.
Following investigations by officers from the Central and Jurong Police Divisions, the two suspects were arrested on Wednesday at Prince Edward Road.
The suspects will be charged in Court today. They face up to three years in jail or a fine of up to $2,000, and at least three strokes of the cane.
