Two more arrested for Pandan Loop murder case
Police have arrested two more men for the killing of a foreign worker at Pandan Loop last Saturday night.
The two men, aged 27 and 28, will be charged in court on Saturday with murder, a police press release stated.
The news comes after Indian national Thiruppathi Veerapperumal, 26, was arrested and charged with the same murder on Wednesday.
Veerapperumal told the court he did not commit the offence. He was remanded for further investigation.
The victim, Mr Murugaiya Suresh Kumar, was found lying motionless on the ground at Pandan Loop along an exit leading to West Coast Highway between 10.10pm and 10.33pm last Saturday.
He had injuries to his head and neck. Blood stains were reportedly splattered along the road, and also on the nearby fencing.
Mr Kumar, 26, an Indian national, was a technician employed by Poly NDT, which does testing and inspections of parts such as ship hulls.
