Uniqlo Singapore warns customers against fake websites, text messages

The Japanese fashion retailer was alerted by reporters from customers.

Japanese fashion retailer Uniqlo has urged its Singapore customers to be wary of websites and text messages impersonating the brand.

In an Instagram post on Sept 1, Uniqlo Singapore said it has received reports from customers about the fake websites and text messages.

"In the public's best interest, we have taken steps to report these fraudulent accounts," it added.

The brand also reminded customers to visit its official website, pages, job portals and platforms.

All Uniqlo Singapore's job postings are only published on FastJobs and LinkedIn. FastJobs is a job search platform for non-executive job seekers.

It added that e-mails to job applicants seeking a position at the company will only be sent from its official e-mail address at careers@uniqlo.com.sg.
